This special edition of The Inhabitants, an image/text collaboration between Raymond Meeks and writer George Weld, presents a companion book titled Erasure: After Nature, (Softbound, 48 pages, 27 b&w/6 color reproductions) as well as a unique framed diptych pairing of silver gelatin prints mounted to repurposed book paper. Each framed piece will have variations to the repurposed panel, along with handwritten text by George Weld.

The additional book, After Nature presents images Meeks made over the period of 6 weeks at a single location in Southern California’s Colorado Desert.  The location and timing allowed for a continuation of a mode of picture making he began while making pictures for The Inhabitants in France throughout 2022. The special edition has been designed and created by Meeks, allowing him to bring unique object qualities to each piece. The framed piece, measuring 11x14 inches, is ready for display.  Both books are firmly housed within the frame’s backside tray.

The edition is limited to 90 with orders filled directly from Meeks’ studio in Kingston, NY
